Meet Dr. Sara Phillips, M.D.

Dr. Sara Phillips

Dr. Phillips is a new addition to the Dermcare Natick team, offering medical and cosmetic dermatological care. After high school, she attended Stanford University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts and Science in mathematics and interdisciplinary studies. After this, she moved to Chicago and entered the world of medicine, where she earned a medical degree from Rush Medical College. She then went on to complete an internship at Northshore University Health System. Dr. Philips completed her dermatology residency at Boston Medical Center as the chief resident in her year.

While she treats many different skin conditions, including psoriasis, acne, hyperpigmentation, atopic dermatitis, she is passionate about skin cancer prevention and holistic medicine. Her patient-centered approach means that she is a good listener and encourages shared decision-making around treatment options.

Dr. Phillips treats all ages, from children to the elderly. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Contact Dermatology Society, and the New England Dermatological Society.

Meet Dr. Paul Bostrom, M.D.

Dr. Paul Bostrom

After graduating cum laude from Williams College, Dr. Bostrom went on to complete medical school at the University of Pennsylvania. This was followed by a dermatology residency at Wayne State University.

For 20 years, Dr. Bostrom served as an officer in United States Air Force. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He worked as a clinical dermatologist in a full-time capacity at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. Dr. Bostrom then went on to serve as an international health specialist at Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany. He was also the Chief of Medical Staff at Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas and Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts.

He ended his military career as an assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Bostrom also taught medical students as well as dermatology residents. His passion and focus center around global health and the associated skin issues.

Dr. Bostrom is board certified and offers medical, cosmetic, and general dermatology.
