With over thirty years of experience in clinical dermatology, a background in dermatology research and additional training in internal medicine, Dr. Rosenthal has repeatedly been recognized as a leading, peer nominated dermatologist by Boston Magazine, Cape Cod Magazine and Castle Connolly. His love and dedication to excellent patient care is informed by his wholistic approach as well as his rigorous training at UCSF Medical Center (Dermatology residency), NYU Medical Center (research fellowship), and Temple University (Internal Medicine residency). He is a graduate of Harvard College and Cornell University Medical College.
The novel coronavirus pandemic has raised major health and safety concerns in a short period of time. Dr. Rosenthal offers telemedicine visits as an opportunity for patients to access quality medical care while staying safe at home. Telemedicine also provides an important convenience to all patients who wish to access clinical care without the hassle of traffic and travel from home or work to a medical office. Dr. Rosenthal sees the new telemedicine as not only saving and improving lives, but also as saving precious time for patients.
Conditions that can be evaluated and treated by telemedicine include acne, rosacea, rashes, hair loss, psoriasis, some skin infections and new or changing growths. If an in-office visit is required for follow-up or biopsy, Dr. Rosenthal can schedule that as necessary.
Despite Covid-19 impacting all our lives in ways we have never experienced, Dr. Rosenthal remains committed to providing care for all those who prefer or, because of age or underlying conditions, require the safety of telemedicine visits.
The office staff at Dermcare is available to help guide anyone interested in scheduling a telemedicine visit with Dr. Rosenthal through their easy process.
