At Dermcare, we care about your health, which is why we have kept your wellbeing in mind regarding decisions around safety protocol. Using the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, we have developed policies and procedures to ensure the safety of your patients.
COVID-19 Safety Protocol
Covid-19 symptom checks will be completed by phone within two days of your appointment. We will request that the patient contact us prior to arriving at the practice of any symptom changes. We ask that you do not enter the office until the time of your appointment unless specifically told to.
Always wear a mask. If you don’t have one we will gladly provide one for you.
1. Do you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, sore throat or a sudden loss of taste or smell?
If yes, please call us to reschedule for after you have isolated for the mandatory 14 days.
2. Have you been diagnosed with or exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
If yes, were you protected by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment?
If no, please call us to reschedule for 14 days time.
If yes, was your exposure brief and under 15 minutes?
If no, please call us to reschedule for 14 days time.
3. Have you traveled out of state for personal reasons to high-risk areas in the last 14 days?
If yes, do you have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken 72 hours before your arrival back to Massachusetts? If no, please call us to reschedule for 14 days time.
- Unless you require assistance or are a minor, please leave your friends at family at home!
We will take your temperature on arrival.
